On April 3rd, during the earthquake, both Mi-pa and Mi-ma received numerous messages expressing concern for MIRAMONTI. Even Mi-fans from abroad promptly called to inquire about the situation.
During the earthquake, Mi-ban was participating in a school relay celebration. Despite feeling the 4D tremors while running, his spirits remained unaffected.
Mi-fans who were lodging during the Qingming holiday immediately rearranged their plans to extend their stay.
Mi-ban asked me, “Mom, are there no guests coming tomorrow?” I replied, “That’s right! There won’t be any guests during the holiday!” The three of them cheered together, “That’s fantastic!”
Seeing the news of the Su-Hua Highway bridge collapse, along with the unsatisfactory holiday plans for this year, I deeply felt the weight of managing our business. However, I have been forging ahead on the path of entrepreneurship, understanding that life’s journey is not always smooth sailing. I have experienced lows and savored the sense of accomplishment each year with three days off.
I am grateful for the companionship of Mi-fans throughout this journey. The road home this year may be more challenging, but with the support of Mi-fans, I feel immensely strengthened. One Mir-fan once wrote, “Though I can’t visit often, Hualien equals MIRAMONTI equals my favorite place ❤️❤️❤️,” a sentiment that deeply moved me.
Finally, I make a promise to Mi-fans:
Nothing unexpected will happen! I will continue to manage MIRAMONTI until my old age. Please plan your return home well!
“I believe safely returning home is the most important thing.”
I will continue to live a fulfilling life and diligently manage my podcast program, “Live Better, Longer and Happy Life” Tune in every Friday for a timely return home~
